PIT FAQ:
Looking at Cards in the Pit:
Q: Can any player look at the cards in the Pit at any time?
A: Yes. Cards in the Pit are always face up and may be viewed by any player at any time.
If the Pit is Full:
Q: If I lose links/cards to the Pit and the Pit is already full, do I still lose links/cards?
A: Yes. Place the links in the bag. Return cards to their respective piles.
Pit, Putting a Pit Card in the Pit:
Q: Can I place a Pit Card in the Pit? Can I sell a Pit Card to the Gnome?
A: Yes and yes.
What to do with Excess Cards:
Q: If the Pit has 4 cards in it and I am going to place 2 more cards in the Pit, how do I decide which card gets placed in the Pit?
A: Another player must randomly draw from the two cards (face-down). Whichever card the player draws gets placed in the Pit.
Pit (Albatross, Goat, Tortoise, Skunk):
Q: If the Pit is full, may I still discard the Albatross Card (by discarding or returning a Key Card)?
A: Yes. If you want to discard the Albatross Card or the Goat Card, you may do so even if the Pit is full. Simply discard/return cards.
Q: Can I place the Albatross Card (or Tortoise Card or Skunk Card) in the Pit in order to get rid of the Goat Card?
